Rose Ceremony

Rose Ceremony

One version of the rose ceremony has the couple exchange roses as their first gift to each other as man and wife.

Rose Ceremony

There are several variations to the Rose Ceremony.  One is two roses from the Bride's bouquet to be given to each mother by the couple as they depart.

Rose Ceremony

Another version says it's hard to say 'I'm sorry' or 'Please forgive me' so placing a rose in a designated spot in your home is a sign to your loved one that you want to reolve the issue because your love matters most of all.

Marriage Box

Some couples elect to include a bottle of wine for their anniversary celebration.  Rereading these love letters reminds the couple of why the fell in love & got married.

Sand Ceremony

Sand Ceremony

Similar to the Unity Candle in that two become one; just as the two colors of sand cannot be undone, so it is with your marriage vows.

Tree Planting

Ideal if including children from a previous marriage.  Each person puts in their scoop of soil representing the fact that like the tree, you're setting down roots as a family, and just like the tree, a marriage must be nurtured in order to grow.
